Poets in the Library!

Four of Los Angeles’ most distinctive and popular writers and performers, Brendan Constantine, Mary Alice Daniel, Nicelle Davis, and Olga Garcia, will explore the theme Landscape: Natural, Urban and Imagined Saturday, February 24, 2pm in a discussion moderated by Susan Lummis. Included in regular admission; members free.

Happy Lunar New Year!

Celebrate the Year of the Dog with a stroll through the garden with family and friends. Our pink trumpet trees are gorgeous and the peacocks are so handsome in their full plumage. The Chinese Lunar New Year weekend is a perfect time to visit. Our hours are 9am-4:30pm; regular admission applies.

Think pink for our Valentine’s Day

Our gorgeous blooming pink trumpet trees will put you in the mood for romance in the garden all week! The blooms are simply spectacular, not to be missed! Enjoy. The Peacock Cafe will be open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Sunday.

What is Forest Bathing?

Our new wellness program: A special guided walk to experience the essence of nature based on the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku. Research has shown that Forest Bathing reduces stress and blood pressure, and bolsters the immune system. Something new to try in 2018! Fee class.
