Pacific Rose Society Show & Sale

Located in Ayres Hall

About This Event

The 150th anniversary of “1867 – The Dawn of the Modern Rose” is the theme of this year’s Pacific Rose Society annual presentation of grandifloras, hybrid teas, floribundas, miniatures and new and old varieties.

A special featured exhibit is the 2017 American Rose Society National Miniature Rose Show, which is coming to the West Coast for the first time in 43 years. Exhibitors are bringing rose exhibits from around the country.

The show overall features thousands of cut roses. Many rose growers from throughout Southern California will exhibit superb rose specimens grown in their home gardens.  There also will be artistic rose arrangements, as well as a rose photography display.

Rose displays will include bouquets, rose blooms floating in silver bowls, and flowers presented in picture frames. Modern roses, antique roses from the 1800’s, English roses, and a table celebrating the “Most Fragrant Roses” will also be on exhibit.
