SOLD OUT. Valentine’s Day Love Potions Tram Tour

Located in Main Entrance

About This Event

BOTH TOURS ARE SOLD OUT. Known for its usefulness in flavoring Italian cookies and sausage, anise seed was also used by the ancient Greeks and Romans who believed the seeds could increase desire. They may have been on to something—anise seeds have been found to influence human hormone levels. And, as so many artists have demonstrated, flowers are among the strongest and most evocative symbols of love.

Learn about other love potions from the garden during a Valentine’s Day Tram Tour with botanical information consultant Frank McDonough on Sunday, February 14, at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.

The fee is $14 for the general public (includes admission); $8 for members. Reservations are required and space is limited. Please call 626.821.4623 to reserve a spot. The Peacock Café will be open for lunch.
