Position: Director of Development

The Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanical Garden seeks an accomplished Director of Development to lead fundraising efforts and play a key role in implementing a new strategic plan.  Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board of Trustees, the Director oversees major gifts, grants, annual campaign, membership and memorial sales, and corporate sponsorships.  Proven ability to secure major gifts is essential, as is understanding of sales and marketing strategies needed to grow membership, sponsorship, and memorials programs. Museum experience is highly desirable.
