Art begins with a chain saw.

This weekend, June 15-17, Artist Charles Dickson will demonstrate how he begins a wood project with his chain saw. He will be at the Arboretum Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm.

Join us for this early preview of the Forces of Nature art exhibit that will be shown at the Arboretum from November 30 through December 2.

Dickson is one of more than 100 artists who were invited to create works of art from wood salvaged from the 235 trees downed by the windstorm in December.
