Arcadia Moon Festival
Events
This unique cultural experience will pay tribute to the Harvest Moon and celebrate one of the most important holidays in the Chinese community. Learn about the legends, folklore and customs associated with this significant occasion. Twilight, bilingual tram tours of the grounds will be offered for an extra fees. There will be Chinese cultural performances of song, dance and martial arts. Feel free to bring a picnic (and blanket) to enjoy on the Lawn, or be adventurous and try some Chinese food that will be available for purchase. Sponsored by the Arcadia Chinese Association and the Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation. Tickets are $3 per person if purchased at the Arboretum Gift Shop by September 28; $5 at the door on September 29. Children 12 and under free. Enjoy the evening with family and friends as we watch the moon rise!
