Rendering three dimensional plant forms in transparency is the main characteristic of botanical watercolor. This class will render all plant forms - first in graphite, and then in watercolor. This ongoing series will cover the basic application and techniques of watercolor painting as well as graphite pencil. Topics covered are wash techniques, dry brush, color palette and mixing green and neutral tint mixing, and mixing and creating a tonal and color study.
