Korean American Stone Appreciation
Events Free with admission
Korean American stone appreciation has a unique personality, born of ancient Chinese influence (Kwaesuk, Weird Stone) and yet resonating with modern Japanese stone collecting (Soosuk, Landscape & Picture Stones, but often written as Longevity Stone).
Natural unaltered American stones - found in rivers, beaches and deserts, and displayed with Korean flair - embody this West Coast synthesis of the spirits of East Asian awareness and Western individualism.
