The mere mention of his name evokes memories of the Jazz Age, the Roaring 20's, flappers and a wealth of musicals that came from a creative imagination unmatched by his contemporaries.  These rhapsodic sounds, from opera to concert, vaudeville to Broadways, wash over the Arboretum green in an incomparable Gershwin extravaganza featuring pianist Kevin Cole in Rhapsody in Blue, acclaimed by the Gershwin family as the definitive interpreter of the music of George Gershwin. For tickets, contact the Pasadena POPS.  Gates open at 5:30pm for picnicking. The concert begins at 7:30pm
