Serpents in the Garden: Classic Cobra Sports Cars

Serpents in the Garden, featured in the Los Angeles Times, will be two-days of fun for the kids as well as an impressive display of Cobra sports cars. For children 12 and under, there will be scavenger hunt through the Arboretum.  The first 250 kids who complete the hunt each day will receive a Hot Wheels car.  The kids can also have their photo taken in a Cobra go-cart model.

Check out lacar.com for scenes from the Cobra exhibit on Saturday.  The Cobra, created by the late legendary racer Carroll Shelby, became a classic racing car soon after it debuted in 1962.  Members of a Cobra racing team will share what it's like to unleash their powerful engines on the track.
