Thank you for supporting our next generation of trees!

Since the windstorm of a year ago, we have received tremendous support from the community—local, regional and even nationally. Thanks to all of you, we have been able to begin establishing new plants to ensure a thriving Arboretum for your children and grandchildren. We also are enormously grateful to the many artists who contributed to the recent Forces of Nature Exhibition. Providing inspiration for the entire Arboretum community, more than 90 artists and artisans created magnificent works from trees lost in the storm.  Proceeds from exhibition sales have further assisted new plantings; we express our gratitude to the many who participated.

Your continued support is much appreciated and essential to our future. There are programs for education, garden care, heritage resources and other key efforts that together create a vibrant Arboretum.  To make an online contribution before the end of the year, click here.  For more information, please call Brittany Fabeck at 626.821.3237.

Sunday is the last day to see the Forces of Nature exhibition featuring art from fallen trees!

More than 75 generous and highly accomplished artists have come together in an exhibition on the anniversary of the catastrophic windstorm that struck San Gabriel Valley a year ago. Proceeds raised by the sale of the artwork will benefit the Arboretum Tree Fund, contributing to the purchase of new trees and restoring the haven the Arboretum has provided and will continue to provide for future generations.

Curated by Leigh Adams, “Forces of Nature” is a unique opportunity for the public to enjoy, participate, and contribute to this historic collection of trees, gardens and architectural landmarks. The three-day exhibition runs Friday-Sunday, November 30-December 2, 2012, 9am-4:30pm.
