The Peacock Cafe is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday. (closed on Mondays)

Garden & Gift Shop

gift shopPlants, postcards and peacocks all can be found at the Garden & Gift Shop. Stop by to check out what's new. There is a wide selection of women's hats and handbags, as well as hats for children, some are made out of Ultra Violet Protective material. Many items can be found with The Arboretum logo from mugs and tote bags to men and women's hats and shirts. We have a fine selection of books for all ages on gardening and nature. Sign up for an Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden Membership, and get 10% off your purchases for the year.

The Arboretum Garden & Gift Shop is run by the Arboretum Foundation, and all profits fund programs run at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden.

The Arboretum Library

The Arboretum Library houses over 35,000 books and 300 current periodical titles covering gardening, botany, California flora and much more.  The general public can use the collection during library hours.  Currently, The Library is non-circulating.  The collection serves all audiences including children.  Bring the kids for "Bookworms", a free storytelling program.

The Library is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m, Tuesday - Friday, Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. & Sundays, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
