American Ceramic Society DC Festival & Gift Show, April 1 & 2

This festival features unique handcrafted giftware and art work by ceramic artists from Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and Ventura counties. Proceeds from this show will benefit the Arboretum Foundation and the ACS-DC Scholarship Fund.

Low water landscapes do not have to be about “tightening the belt.” Learn how to envision garden spaces that provide color, habitat, shade, and places for respite and celebration, all with less water and climate appropriate plants.

Santa Anita Derby Day 5K, April 8

Race course runs through the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden and finishes on the legendary Santa Anita Race Track!

Spring Iris Show & Sale, April 8 & 9

The Southern California Iris Society presents tall bearded, small bearded and aril-bred irises. Members will be available to answer cultural questions.

Egg-exceptional Celebration, April 15

Join us for an EGG-ceptional Celebration! For kids of all ages. Egg hunts will take place continuously and Easter baskets will be provided. Early member hours.   Fee for children activities. Regular admission applies.

Daylily Show & Plant Sale, April 15 & 16

The Southern California Iris Society presents tall bearded, small bearded and aril-bred irises. Members will be available to answer cultural questions.

Pacific Rose Society Show & Sale, April 22 & 23

The Pacific Rose Society’s annual presentation will include grandifloras, hybrid teas, floribundas, miniatures and new and old varieties.  Shrubs of miniature and larger varieties, as well as cut flowers, will be on sale both days.

Butterfly Hubs Walking Tour, April 23

We unveil our official Monarch Waystation designation on this walking tour with Arboretum Gardener Bryan Burks who will show and tell you all about the hubs he created within the Arboretum to attract butterflies. Free with admission; members free

Artboretum Botanical Art Show & Sale, April 28-30

ARTboretum is back this year, with exciting hands-on demonstrations so the public can experience the thrill of drawing and painting plants. Great framed or unframed art, cards and prints will be available for sale.

A Faery Fun Time, April 29

Join the faeries from A Faery Hunt up close in an interactive walkabout in the enchanted gardens of the Arboretum. The faeries will bring you stories of faery magic and flowers, with dancing, singing and fun.
