Peacock Day 2019 Saturday, March 23!

Join us for an essential part of the Arboretum experience: Peacocks. We have a special day of activities to explore their amazing beauty, habits and natural attributes. We’ll have a costume contest for kids and adults.  At 2pm Christina Johnson, associate curator at FIDM Museum, will present a special talk, Peacock Plumage in Fashion.

Children ages 5-11 will enjoy their spring break exploring and learning about nature.  We get children outside and away from screens to observe and explore wildlife in a natural setting. The first Spring Nature Camp runs from March 18-22; the second April 1-5.  Full session, daily and extended care available.

Celebrating 40 years of Environmental Education Saturday, March 30

Mark your calendar for the Los Angeles Environmental Education Fair on Saturday, March 30. Visitors will learn about lifestyle changes that will help our planet and enjoy activities that will cindlue  workshops, sustainable food sampling, science scavenger hunts, art activities and eco-friendly demonstrations. 9am-3pm. Regular admission applies, members free
