Wondering where to start with California native plants? Many gardeners cannot clear their yards and start with a blank slate, but would like to try growing native plants. California native plants have an undeserved reputation for being ‘difficult’. Many are remarkably easy to grow and can be “incorporated” into a drought tolerant landscape without harm to the garden or the native plants. We will discuss some of the easy and beautiful natives you can start with-what they need-and how they can be a benefit to your environment. Learn how you can add these easy, un-thirsty plants to your existing landscape.
