Cancellation & Refund Policy
The Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the class non-viable. If the Arboretum cancels a class, registrants will be offered a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations within 7 days of the start of the class. For all other cancellations, your payment will be refunded minus a 10% processing fee.

September 21 – Autumn Leaves: Students will create a leaf, or multiple leaves, by combining clay and actual leaves. The work will be painted and covered with glue.
September 28 – Build a Branch: Combining wood branches and clay, students can create an environment that lives in their tree branch. From bugs, to birds, or fantasy characters. The work will be painted and covered with glue.

November 16 – Pumpkin Patches: Students will learn how to make ceramic pumpkins that will be placed in in a ‘pumpkin patch’, created out of varied foliage that will be provided. The work will be painted and covered with glue.
November 23 – Birds of a Feather: Students will create fanciful feathers out of clay and garden foliage in celebrating the season. The work will be painted and covered with glue.

December 7 – Press Mold the Season: Students will press clay into plaster molds, creating Holiday images. Varied seasonal foliage will embellish their pieces. The work will be painted and covered with glue.
December 14 – Snowflakes: Students will create snowflakes by combining clay and seasonal foliage for embellishing their pieces. The work will be painted and covered with glue.

The Los Angeles Arboretum is proud to announce the return of Patricia Ferber’s Ceramics Classes and Workshops.  Join us in our newly renovated classroom space for a fun filled learning experience in using clay in combination with nature.

Patricia Ferber has been working in the field of Ceramics for over 40 years. Her area of expertise in the Fine Arts is primarily as a sculptor. Working in varied media, she is an educator, a curator, a free lance artist. Encompassed are clay pieces, paintings, and large/environmental landscape works formed out of rock and metal.
