Free Day Tickets
Free Day at the Arboretum, the third Tuesday of each month, is so popular that to ensure an enjoyable experience for visitors, we will begin requiring reserved tickets in September.
The tickets are free but reservations are required. Tickets for the September 17 free day will be available on-line September 1 at 9am. Free day group tickets are available on-line. Reservations open on the first of each month for the free day of that month. Entry times are 9am and 1pm.
Tickets for September 17 will be available September 1
Tickets for October 15 will be available October 1
Tickets for November 19 will be available November 1
Free Day Ticket Guidelines
The free tickets must be reserved online in advance or in person before the desired Tuesday. Tickets will not be available at the Arboretum on Free Tuesday.
Reservations open on the 1st of the month at 9:00am. There are two entry times: 9:00am and 1:00pm.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Unused tickets may not be applied to another free day.
Tickets are required for all non-member visitors, including infants who will need a ticket.
Arboretum members do not need a ticket.
Members of other gardens that participate in the Reciprocal Admissions Program must reserve a free non-member ticket.
Tickets will be scanned for entry and can only be used for the date and time printed on them. Tickets are limited to 8 per household. More than 8 tickets will have all additional tickets invalidated.
You are welcome to photograph nature and vacation style snap shots of your visit. For portrait or event photography a $50 walk-in permit is required.
School groups must register at Self-Guided Field trip.
Groups of 9-20 individuals, including children and infants, may purchase a group pass. Only one pass per group. 9:00am entry time only. The entire party must be present in order to enter the Garden.
Groups of over 20 must contact Visitor Services at email@example.com to check availability and reserve tickets.
No outside food is allowed into the gardens. There is a lawn and a picnic area near the main parking lot available for picnicking.
