The Arboretum Library contains a comprehensive collection of resources on gardening, botany, California native plant life, environmental issues, and some agriculture as these subjects relate to the plants native to and planted in Southern California. This includes books, e-books, magazines, government documents, pamphlets, and audio-visual materials.
New Arboretum Library Hours
Hours are limited until a new librarian is named to succeed Susan Eubank, who has retired.
The Arboretum Library will be open from 9am – 3pm on the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month.
Patrons can still check items out on Saturdays and items can be returned during the week at the Membership Office. We cannot accept donations during this interim period and cannot respond to calls or emails outside of our limited hours of operation.
Thank you for your support!
The Botanical Information Consultant is currently unavailable.
