The Arboretum remains open for your respite and enjoyment during these difficult times in accordance with County of Los Angeles policy allowing visitors to botanic gardens as explained by Arboretum director Richard Schulhof.
Arboretum staff have developed protocols for safely admitting visitors as they enter our 127 acres where broad roads and large landscapes accommodate distancing requirements. Also, we are limiting the number of visitors and ticket sales are only online here.
To fully enjoy the garden, please follow these guidelines:
• Visitors are required to wear masks or other face coverings at all times, except for children under 2.
• Please stay 6 feet from visitors not in your household.
Indoor spaces are closed and tours are on hold for now.
• The Queen Anne Cottage, Coach Barn, Tropical Greenhouse, and Arboretum Library are closed until further notice.
• Tram service, walking tours, guided school tours and Santa Anita Depot tours are suspended until further notice.
As you know this is an evolving situation and we encourage you to check back for updates. We will continue to update this page. Thank you for your understanding, and please know that we are committed to preserving the Arboretum as a safe place of peace and beauty for our community.
