Free Tuesday
FREE TUESDAY
As Los Angeles County continues to implement cost-saving measures due to budget cuts, Free Tuesdays have been cancelled at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. Free Tuesdays have also been discontinued at three other botanical gardens under the Los Angeles County Parks & Recreation Department.
At the Arboretum, we want to share the garden with as many visitors as possible. To do so, we offer three programs that provide free admission to the garden:
EBT Card – Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cardholders are eligible for up to two (2) adult daytime admissions and four (4) daytime admissions for children under 18 years of age. No reservations or online tickets are required. Just present your EBT card and photo ID with matching name at the entrance.
Summer Beat, a LA Parks program – Free summer admission for students ages 13-18 with valid, current student ID and accompanied by an adult (with a ticket) from Memorial Day through Labor Day, Monday September 1, 2025. During this summer, there is also free admission for military/veterans and teachers with valid ID.
The Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Gardens participates in the American Horticultural Society (AHS) reciprocal admissions program (free with member card) with exceptions of Descanso Gardens, South Coast Botanic Garden, and California Botanic Garden.
